What Ever Happened…

What ever happened to good, old-fashioned, customer service? I went to grab a bite to eat at a diner. Now I happen to be a diner girl; I LOVE diners….but not one employee at this diner cared or valued me or any of the other paying customers. It felt like we were an inconvenience for them. What’s up with that?
I used to work for a restaurateur who was obsessed with the customer service of the 50’s; where you were always greeted with a smile and where you were always treated with value..(it was one of the reasons why I loved working for him). Where did all of that go?
